Bandolero Cigars

Bandolero cigars are the third branch of the Selected Tobacco family, joining Atabey and Byron. Also created by Nelson Alfonso, they are positioned as the more "approachable" and "bold" sister brand. While Atabey and Byron aim for a refined, Cubanesque profile, Bandolero is often described as having more "New World" characteristics—richer, fuller-bodied, and slightly more aggressive in its flavor delivery.

The brand name pays homage to the 18th and 19th-century "bandoleros" (bandits) who smuggled tobacco to circumvent the Spanish Crown's strict monopoly on cigar production.
