Description
Tatuaje’s Reserva SW is a classic Churchill-sized offshoot of the original Brown Label line, with some cool backstory and variants.
Core profile
The original Tatuaje Reserva SW is a 7 x 47 Churchill, blended by Pete Johnson and José “Pepin” Garcia in the traditional Cuban style. It’s built around all-Nicaraguan internal tobaccos with an Ecuadorian Habano (often described as Habano Rosado Claro) wrapper, rolled in Miami in the El Rey de los Habanos factory with a triple cap.
Flavor-wise its a medium-to-full, with earth, coffee, wood/cedar, spice and some chocolate or cocoa appearing, plus a long creamy finish. It’s positioned as an old‑world Cuban-esque profile but with better construction and draw consistency.
Name and vitolas
The “SW” stands for Sir Winston, a nod to the H. Upmann Sir Winston Churchill vitola from Cuba. The main Miami Reserva SW is a standard Churchill at 7 x 47.
Production on the full-size SW is limited but recurring.
