L'Atelier La Mission 1989 is a premium, box-pressed cigar produced by Pete Johnson (of Tatuaje Cigars) in collaboration with the Garcia family at the My Father Cigars factory in Nicaragua. The cigar was launched in 2015 as part of the La Mission line, which draws inspiration from the acclaimed Bordeaux winery Château La Mission Haut-Brion, with each vitola named after a vintage that received a 100-point rating from Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate.
